Rams lose Faulk for season
St. Louis Rams coach Scott Linehan has confirmed at a news conference that 33-year-old running back Marshall Faulk will miss the 2006 season after suffering a knee injury.
Faulk will have reconstructive surgery that could bring down the curtain on his 11 year NFL career.

Faulk, a seven-time Pro Bowler and the 2000 NFL MVP after leading St. Louis to a 23-16 win over the Tennessee Titans in the 2000 Super Bowl didn't attend the news conference.
Linehan said, "We were hoping for the best, but we've been planning for both scenarios,"
