Ricky Williams will undergo surgery after he broke his left arm during the first half of a 26-23 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday.

Williams is playing three-down football in the Canadian Football League after he was suspended by the NFL for failing his fourth drug test.

Williams is still tied to the NFL Miami Dolphins and is expected to return to the Dolphins in a year's time when his suspension has been served.
