Adelaide holds off Pies
Adelaide bounced back to the winners list with a four-point victory over a gallant Collingwood at AAMI Stadium last night 7.16 (58) to 7.12 (54).
The league leading Crows led by three points at quarter-time before heading into the main break down by a solitary point. Adelaide edged out to a six point lead at the last change and clung to victory despite Collingwood outscoring the home side 2.5 to 2.3 in the final quarter.

The low scoring affair ensured the contest would be in the balance throughout the night. The flood was certainly on at AAMI with Nathan Basset taking 22 marks while Ben Rutten had 15 marks for the Crows who bided their time with the possession of the ball.
The Pies may have to take on Essendon at The G next Friday without forward Alan Didak who was reported for tripping Adelaide's Michael Doughty early in the second quarter.
