Maddux said on Monday, "I started with them and I thought I was going to end with them," as he finished his time at the Cubs with a 327-200 win-loss record.

Izturis heads West having made a promising return from an elbow injury that required surgery last Spetember.

The 26-year-old former Gold Glove winner was activated on June 20 and is hitting .252 with seven doubles and 12 RBIs in 32 games this season.
