It`s Party Time on Southside after the Chicago White Sox swept the Houston Astros with a 1-0 win at Minute Maid Park to claim their first World Series title in 88 years. The White Sox hadn't won the title since Shoeless Joe Jackson`s White Sox in 1917.

MVP Jermaine Dye ensured the White Sox would finally be remembered for something other than Shoeless Joe Jackson`s Black Sox of 1919 when his two-out RBI single off Brad Lidge in the eighth inning broke the deadlock.

Manager Ozzie Guillen said after winning his first Fall Classic, ``People thought I was going to be jumping around my players. I have to respect the opposite team.
