Kemp charged with drug possession

Former Seattle Supersonics big man Shawn Kemp was arrested and charged late last week. The 36-year-old former NBA All-Star with caught in possession of marijuana by the Harris County Sheriff's Department.

A six time All-Star, Kempwas arrested following a traffic stop with officers finding less than 2 ounces of the illegal drug in Kemp's possession.

Kemp was released from the Harris County Jail after posting a $500 cash bond. Kemp spent 14 seasons in the NBA playing for the Seattle SuperSonics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Portland Trail Blazers and Orlando Magic before retiring from the NBA in 2003.
