Green and Mundine set fight date
The much anticipated fight between Danny Green and Anthony Mundine has been set with the long awaited clash of the super middleweights set down for April 19 at Sydney's Aussie Stadium.

Hearns wins in return to the ring
Thomas "The Hitman" Hearns returned to the ring on Saturday night posting an eighth round knockout of John Long in his first fight in five years. The 46 year old Hearns was ahead 79-72 on all three judges' cards when the referee ended the cruiserweight fight when Long failed to answer the bell for the ninth.
Mayweather makes short work of Gatti
Floyd Mayweather Junior scored a TKO win over an outclassed Arturo Gatti to win the WBC super lightweight title in Atlantic City. The unbeaten Mayweather may now take on Britain's IBF champion Ricky Hatton who was watching at ringside.
Tyson Quits At End Of Sixth Round
Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson called it quits at the end of the sixth round of his fight against Irish journeyman Kevin McBride in Washington on Saturday. The 38-year-old said his career was now effectively over, nineteen years after becoming the youngest heavyweight champion of all time.

Former World Heavyweight champion Mike Tyson is aiming to get his boxing career back on track on Saturday night when he fights against Northern Ireland's Kevin McBride at the MCI Center. The 38-year-old Tyson now training under the watchful eye of Jeff Fenech told McBride, ``I'm going to gut you like a fish,'' at a press conference on Wednesday.
Kessler defeats Mundine
Mikkel Kessler won a unanimous points decision over Australian challenger Anthony Mundine in their WBA super middleweight title at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Kessler improved his record to an impressive 36 wins and no losses after the judges scored the fight 116-112 117-113 and 120-108 in his favour.
Tszyu Quits
Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton is the new IBF light welterweight champion after he was awarded the world title fight against Russian born Australian Kostya Tszyu at the end of the 11th round when upon suggestion of Tszyu's corner referee Dave Parris stopped the bout.
Brewster demolishes Golota
Lamon Brewster made light work of Andrew Golota scoring a technical knockout just 53 seconds into the scheduled 12-round bout Saturday night at the United Center in Chicago. The WBO heavyweight champion said, "Andrew Golota was the only thing keeping me from the land of milk and honey."
