College Football Bowl Season begins

The first of the College Bowls will be decided on Tuesday when Arkansas State Indians meet Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles in the New Orleans Bowl to be played at Cajun Field in Lafayette, La.

Arkansas State Indians clinched their first trip to the postseason since 1987 with a 31-24 victory over North Texas in their final game.

The Tribe made the most of a 5-0 start to the season and meet a Southern Mississippi team heading to their fourth straight Bowl Game after they extended their string of winning seasons to 12.
