Trojans spank UCLA

It was as easy as ABC for USC who spanked 11th-ranked UCLA 66-19 at the L.A. Coliseum packed out with crowd of 92,000. The Trojans extended their all-conquering winning streak to 34 as they now look ahead to the Rose Bowl.

The No. 1 Trojans (12-0) will no doubt face No. 2 Texas Longhorns (12-0) for the National Championship in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 4.

Running machine Reggie Bush rushed for 260 yards, 228 of which came in the first half as the Trojans iced the game by halftime leading 31-6. Bush finished with two touchdowns on 24 carries against the Bruins.

Waiting in the Rose Bowl will be the Texas Longhorns who disposed of Colorado with a minimum of fuss. Texas ran out comprehensive 70-3 winners in the Big 12 championship game in Houston.
