Pakistan and India to resume hostilities

The second one-day international of the five-match series between India and Pakistan will take place on Saturday in Rawalpindi.

Fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has been ruled out of the second limited-overs international for Pakistan due to a recurring ankle injury.

Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq confirmed Shoaib would not play on Saturday and was doubtful to take his place in the third game in Lahore on Monday.

Pakistan made it 11 wins from their last 16 matches against India in Game 1.
