Woods wins Buick for win No. 50

Tiger Woods shot his fourth consecutive 6 under par 66 to win the Buick Open at Warwick Hills, his fourth win of the year and the 50th PGA Tour title of his brilliant career.

The 30-year-old Woods who only last month won the British Open picked up $864,000 and pushed his PGA tour-leading prizemoney total to a staggering $5,127,563.

He will now head to the PGA Championship at the Medinah Country Club aiming to win his 12th major.

Woods finished at 24 under the card to beat Jim Furyk by three strokes with Joe Durant one shot back at 19 under the card.

Sean O'Hair, Vaughn Taylor and Scott Verplank finished in a three way tie for fourth place a further shot back.
