Bruschi may return
Speculation is mounting in New England that Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi may return this season. The three time Super Bowl winner suffered a mild stroke in February just 10 days after the Patriots won their third Super Bowl in four years. Betting on the NFL regular season and Super Bowl XL winner in Detroit is available with Canbet.com.
The Patriots placed the 32-year-old Bruschi on the physically unable to perform list, which meant he had to sit out at least the first six games. The Pats play their sixth game this weekend against the Broncos.

In an interview with the Boston Globe, Bruschi said he wouldn't play this season. "I'm telling you right now, that's not going to happen. I need to do what's best for my family and myself. There's a difference between living normally and being fine, and getting ready for a professional football season. I need the year to get myself ready."
"I considered playing this season. We talked about it a lot. But this is something that you don't rush. It's not a sprained ankle.''
Patriots coach Bill Belichick said on Friday that if there was anything to add on the growing speculation then it would be said by Bruschi. "If Tedy has something to say, I'm sure he's perfectly capable of saying that himself. I have nothing to add to that situation whatsoever. Zero.''
