Falcons beat Saints

The Atlanta Falcons needed a last second field goal from kicker Todd Peterson to down a valiant New Orleans Saints outfit 34-31 in San Antonio. The Falcons Peterson missed a 41-yarder but a call against defensive end Tony Bryant for holding gave Peterson a second chance five yards closer.

Peterson nailed it giving the NFC South division favorites a 4-2 start to the year. Coach Jim Mora said, "You put (it the win) in your pocket and you get on the plane as fast as you can and you get home and that's what we're going to do,'' after his team got out of jail.
